Vardendra Kulkarni MD is currently Professor and Head, Department of Pathology, and Coordinator of Medical Education Unit, Jagadguru Jayadeva Murugarajendra Medical College, Davangere, Karnataka. He completed his graduation and postgraduation from Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli. He has pursued Advanced Course in Medical Education (ACME) from NMC`s nodal center for faculty development, JNMC,Belagavi.He has been constantly mentoring faculty members in various states in implementation of CBME curriculum through regular workshops. He is well known among the undergraduate and postgraduate students for his engaging style of teaching, interactive strategies, exam-oriented discussions and personalized mentoring for qualifying in foreign licensure examinations like USMLE and PLAB. He has successfully guided many undergraduate and postgraduate students in short-term research projects.He has delivered educational lectures related to numerous pathology-related topics on various online platforms such as YouTube, Learnograph, White Army, etc. He has been actively involved in research activities and led pathology teams in international projects.He has to his credit more than 30 papers published in national and international journals. Soumya BM MD is currently Assistant Professor,Department of Pathology,in Jagadguru Jayadeva Murugarajendra Medical College, Davangere, Karnataka. She completed her graduation from Shivamogga Institute of Medical Sciences, Shivamogga, and postgraduation from Jagadguru Jayadeva Murugarajendra Medical College, Davangere, Karnataka, by securing the fifth rank in RGUHS examination. She has been actively involved in implementation of CBME curriculum at institutional level. She has participated in medical education workshops and student mentorship programs. She is involved in research activities and has to her credit papers published in national and international journals.
